Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the release of the brand new ‘Child’s Love’ Rose.
The highly fragrant and stunning Child’s Love rose was introduced by Kim Syrus at Corporate Roses nursery at Myponga, as a special fundraising venture to raise money for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Sam Tolley, WCH Foundation CEO, says the proceeds from the sale of the special rose will help the Foundation continue to make a difference to sick kids and their families at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
“The Child’s Love rose is a healthy, happy rose and we want our Hospital kids to be just the same. The money raised will help us ensure that children and their families have access to the very best in medical care.”
The Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation is the official charity of the WCH, and has given in excess of $22million to the Hospital since 2005 investing in the best equipment and facilities.
Vanessa Lewis and Jason Morgan, who have three daughters - Lily, Evie and Laila – (pictured) all born at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, said the rose was a beautiful way for people to show their love, especially for their mum in the lead up to Mother’s Day. “A child’s love for their mum and dad is unconditional and this rose is beautiful. We will be planting three in our garden, one for each of the girls. We are lucky to have three healthy happy babies, so this is our way of giving back”, said Vanessa.
According to Kim Syrus, the ‘Child’s Love’ rose features masses of petal-filled, luminous, deep salmon pink blooms borne continuously on this easy to grow rose.
“The scalloped edging around each flower is frilly and fun, simply adding to its charm. Perfumed to perfection, the heavy, heady classic fragrance of Child’s Love is amazing and will scent both garden and home. Hardy and healthy, this happy rose will grow equally well in ground and pot alike,” says Kim.
