Paediatric CAR-T Cancer Immunotherapy Research Project

Ground breaking research is being conducted here in Adelaide with a paediatric focus.
Led by Professor Simon Barry from the Hospital’s research team, in partnership researchers from Carina Biotech, our Foundation is raising funds in support of a new immunotherapy project targeting a treatment for solid cell cancerous tumours in children.
CAR-T has already shown great results in the treatment of blood cancers through trials in the United States and our Foundation is raising funds to advance this research so that a treatment can be developed here in South Australia for solid cell tumours.
