The notion of home is something we all identify with; either having had, have or desired one. But what factors, other than providing us shelter, makes home so important and memorable for us?
Being Home goes to the heart of this concept, as these early career artists dig deep and contemplate the finer emotional components of what ‘makes a house a home’.
Using their chosen mediums, each artist shares their personal findings and outlooks on the meaning of home.
Deconstructing their understanding and constructing it back up again to create artworks which draw from colours, places, objects, emotions and environments, which to them represent or ‘makes’ their home.
