MS McLeod Early Career Researcher Award
The MS McLeod Research Fund was established by Murdoch Stanley McLeod, a South Australian businessman and philanthropist, who passed away in 1981, to support research in the field of paediatrics and children’s health. The Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation manages and administers the MS McLeod Research Fund on behalf of the Trustees, who include prominent South Australian researchers and clinicians.
The MS McLeod Research Fund supports an outstanding Early Career Researcher (ECR) to lead a program of research relevant to paediatrics or children’s health. This may include periconception, pregnancy, and perinatal related research where the focus is on healthy foetal development and child health outcomes.
The Award may be used to support the costs associated with undertaking a research project, including salary and direct research costs, to the value of $220,000 over a maximum of 2 years, with one award available in 2025.
Expressions of interest open 9am (ACST) Monday 22 September, and close 5pm Friday 17 October 2025.
