Get your running shoes ready… We would love for you, your family, friends and work colleagues to join team WCH Foundation at this year’s Westpac City-Bay Fun Run Presented by Sunday Mail on Sunday, 16 September!
STEP 1: Create Your Fundraising Page
To get started, first you’ll need to create your City-Bay Fundraising Page.
Thanks to our Corporate Partner Westpac, once you’ve registered to fundraise for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation, we’ll send you a code to redeem 50% off of your City-Bay entry fee!
The first 100 fundraiser to raise $100 will also receive a limited edition race-day t-shirt!
It takes just a few minutes to register, upload images and inspirational words to create your own page to raise funds for the WCH Foundation. Then you can ask colleagues, family and friends to support you by emailing them a unique link to your web page. Every donation is recorded on your page along with messages of support from your donors.
The City-Bay makes it easy for you to improve your fitness while raising funds to support a cause that is close to your heart. This is your chance to walk or run 3km, 6km or 12km or a half marathon in South Australia’s largest annual fun run.
Last year, our supporters boosted by our corporate partner Westpac, made a difference in support of your Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This year as the City-Bay celebrates its 45th year we celebrate Your Hospital’s 140th Anniversary, we are aiming for a target of $25,000!
We are thrilled to introduce you to this year’s WCH Foundation City-Bay Ambassador, Caelim, who is a long-term patient of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and a very talented runner. To help you prepare for the event, Caelim will be sharing his training tips with you over the next 12 weeks!
This year, Team WCH Foundation will help raise funds for SA’s first respite accommodation built especially for, and available to hospital families who are caring around the clock for children requiring significant care and support due to a long-term and/or life-limiting illness. This house will offer a welcoming, calm and peaceful environment far from the physical and emotional stresses of the hospital setting.
