We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $130,000 through the Kick it for Kids campaign.
As the official charity partner for the 2026 AFL Gather Round, we once again set out to help sick kids get back to what they love most, their family, their backyards and their footy.
From the friendly competition of local venues raising funds, to Run 4 Your Club, and our chill-out zone at the Footy Festival, Kick it for Kids brought the community together in so many meaningful ways.
Beyond the fundraising, children and families were given moments away from the hospital environment, attending games, meeting players, and taking part in experiences designed just for them. These moments of joy, connection and normalcy mean so much to sick kids and their families.
A heartfelt thank you to Peter Kittle Toyota, Unified Solar, all the competing venues, Luke, Jude and his family, and everyone who donated, shared the message and helped kick goals for kids.
It’s the generosity of supporters like you that makes all of this possible.
Thank you đź’›

Celebrating World Music Therapy Week 🎶
Music Therapists play a vital role in supporting babies, children, young people, and their families throughout every stage of their hospital journey.
From singing and playing instruments to creating personalised music, these moments offer comfort, a sense of control, and connection for patients and their families during what can often feel overwhelming.
Through meaningful connection and creative expression, they deliver evidence based music therapy to help ease the stress and challenges that can come with hospital care and treatment.
The WCH Foundation is proud to support Music Therapy at the Women`s and Children`s Hospital, helping children and families across the hospital experience the benefits of music and creative care.
