Arts in Health
Over the past 10 years, the WCH Foundation’s Arts in Health program has brightened the lives of thousands of children visiting the Hospital.
This vital program helps to relieve suffering, anxiety, and depression and improve hospital patients’ recovery. It focuses on encouraging creativity, providing moments of calm in a busy health environment, and easing the distress of patients and their families.
Find out more about the Arts in Health Program through our 10 Year Report.
Laklinyeri Beach House
The WCH Foundation Laklinyeri Beach House is South Australia’s first purpose-built holiday home for families with children with complex medical needs or in palliative care, as well as bereaved families.
Family stays are funded through donations made to the WCH Foundation and we work closely with the families to use those donations to help create bespoke holidays to meet their wishes and needs.
Learn more about the Beach House through our Beach House Book, created to commemorate the Beach House’s official opening in 2019.
