Corporate Partners Update

Going Nuts For Charlesworth Nuts

Our supporters in South Australia went nuts for Charlesworth Nuts!

Brett and the team at Charlesworth Nuts partnered with the WCH Foundation with the aim of raising money for our Beach House project. With your help, they smashed their fundraising goal and reached a total of $10,000. Well done!

Thank you to all the team at Charlesworth Nuts and to everyone who supported their fundraising campaign by purchasing the delicious limited edition Salty Macadamia Pearls. A special thank you to Kain Charlesworth for creating the marvellous combination of macadamias smothered in white chocolate with a special smattering of sea salt. We can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!

Congratulations to our friends at Charlesworth Nuts for recently celebrating their 85th birthday milestone.

Brett Charlesworth, Charley Peanut, TK Bunny, and WCH Foundation CEO, Jane Scotcher.

ALH  (Australian Leisure and Hospitality) Group Makes a Big Impact

Comprised of 31 hotels across South Australia and the Northern Territory, the ALH Group is a dedicated supporter of local charities. We were thrilled to be selected as their charity partner in 2018.

Their team and customers spent a busy year fundraising for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation Beach House. Thanks to the generous support of staff and patrons of the ALH Group, an incredible $72,662.85 was raised in total.

Their tremendous efforts will have a lasting impact on some of our most deserving families and has helped us move one step closer to making this dream house a reality.

Finding Dino a Home

For those of you who have visited the Foundation office or followed us on Facebook in recent months, you may have met our resident T-Rex, Dino, who came to us from the South Australian Museum.

Over the summer school holidays, we joined forces with the Museum to run a colouring-in competition to find Dino a new home. We received 118 entries and were so impressed by the colouring in, we decided to award four runner-up prizes as well!

Congratulations to our overall winner Max, aged 7, who kindly donated Dino to his school, Vale Park Primary, where he has now taken up residence in the library and is helping to teach the students all about the wonderful world of dinosaurs.

(L-R): Brian Oldman, Director of the South Australian Museum, Jane Scotcher, CEO of the WCH Foundation and Max.
