Costco delivers six-figure donation to Beach House
In their fourth year supporting the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation, the dedicated team at Costco set themselves a challenge to make this year’s fundraising campaign the most successful to date – with an incredible $55,204 raised.
Balloons, heart-shaped baubles and a special non-member weekend, where for a $5 donation on entry hundreds of new visitors were able to shop for a great cause, helped boost fundraising efforts.
With the success of the 2018 and 2019 fundraising campaigns, including generous gift matching by Costco Wholesale Australia Head Office, Costco Adelaide has now raised over $100,000 in support of the WCH Foundation Beach House.

WCH Foundation Head of Fundraising Corinne Habel, Costco’s Bruce Duncan, WCH Foundation Corporate Partnerships Manager Julie LeMessurier and Costco’s Jo Winter.
Costco Membership and Marketing Manager, Bruce Duncan, said this outstanding accomplishment has been a community effort.
“Supporting the WCH Foundation Beach House has given us a great opportunity to be part of a community and bring the team together towards a common goal,” he said.
“We are a member-driven organisation so it was really good to engage the members and get them involved as well. $100,000 is a big amount… It is a very special thing to be involved in.”
The WCH Foundation is incredibly grateful for the amazing support and generosity of our corporate partners who help us make a difference to the women, children and families of South Australia.
Thank you to all the team at Costco and to everyone who supported their fundraising campaign.
